PolarFire SoC Icicle Kit Quick Start Guide
Overview
The PolarFire SoC Icicle kit is a low-cost development platform that enables evaluation of the quad-core, Linux-capable RISC-V microprocessor subsystem, innovative Linux and real-time execution, low-power capabilities, and the rich set of peripherals of the PolarFire SoC FPGA.

Note 1: If your host PC doesn't recognize the USB – UART COM port, drivers are available here.
Launching the Pre-installed Webserver Application
- Connect an ethernet cable to J2 and connect it to the same router as your PC
- Using Linux console as the command line interface, change to the webserver directory.

$ cd /opt/microchip/iiohttpserver
- Find the IP address of the icicle kit by running
-
$ ifconfig
- Launch the web server by running the script
-
$ ./run.sh
- The webserver will now start running
- Browse to the IP address of the Icicle kit from your host machine to view the webpage
NOTE: Click here to update your PoalrFire SoC Icicle kit to the latest binaries
