The large swing, differential output of the driver is designed to interface with Indium Phosphide (InP) or Silicon Photonics (SiP) coherent Mach-Zehnder modulators. The Grizzly32-D1 is packaged in a 9x14mm surface-mount LGA package which contains internal input and output AC-coupling capacitors to reduce the number of components required within small form factor modules, transponders, muxponders or line cards.
