Overview
Simucad Design Automation is a leading supplier of circuit simulation and CAD software tools used for designing analog, mixed-signal, and RF integrated circuits. Simucad's goal is to provide EDA simulation and CAD software to the industry with quality, powerful software backed by strong support. Simucad was formed when it broke away from Silvaco, allowing the two companies to pursue separate product goals and, ultimately, allowing Simucad to become public. Their Microsemi-compliant product, SILOS-X, is a Verilog simulator with built-in debugging tools, an industry standard since 1986.
Products and Services
SILOS-X is an easy-to-use IEEE-1364-2001-compliant Verilog simulator, which offers an interactive debugging design environment for FPGAs, PLDs, ASICs, and custom digital designs. The embedded lint tool can check syntax, design, and semantic rules with its extensive list of checking rules. A Save All feature allows the entire simulation history of a project to be reviewed, and Save and Restore allows restarting a file mid-simulation. This software offers an easy way to comprehensively verify a project with integrated code coverage.
