Libero SoC v11.7 Archive
Overview
Libero license options are changing as indicated in Customer Notification CN17012. These changes will take effect with Libero SoC v11.8 due for release 13th of March, 2017.
Compiled Simulation Libraries for SmartFusion2, IGLOO2, and SmartFusion
Important Note :
1. For SmartFusion2/IGLOO2 designs, only SmartFusion2 libraries are required for simulations.
2. For SmartFusion designs, both SmartFusion and MSS_BFM_LIB libraries are needed for simulations.

An issue was identified in Libero SoC v11.7 SP3 originally posted 1/18/2017.This has been resolved and a new service pack is now available from the links below, posted 1/27/2017. Please review the release notes for further information including capture numbers to confirm you have the updated version.

Important Note:
- The Libero SoC v11.7 SP3 service pack is an incremental update and must be installed on top of any of the Libero SoC v11.7, Libero SoC v11.7 SP1, Libero SoC v11.7 SP1.1, Libero SoC v11.7 SP2 or Libero SoC v11.7 SP3 (installed before 27th January,2017).
- The Libero SoC v11.7 SP3 service pack addresses changes and impacts in SmartFusion2 and IGLOO2 devices. Refer PCN17005 for more details on the changes in SmartFusion2 and IGLOO2.
- For users working offline with Libero SoC v11.7 SP3, Mega Vault v11.7 SP3 has to be installed.
What is new in Libero SoC v11.7 SP3 :
- Support RT4G150-CQFP352 package
- Programming is not enabled, timing numbers are in advance, and package power and design-specific IBS model details are not yet available
- RTG4 LSRAM configurators enhancement
- Enhanced error messaging for eNVM page locking
- RTG4 CCC divider timing model update
- Software updates and fixes that address changes in SmartFusion2 and IGLOO2 devices listed in the PCN 17005.

- The Libero SoC v11.7 SP2 service pack is an incremental update and must be installed on top of the Libero SoC v11.7 SP1 or Libero SoC v11.7 SP1.1.
- If your Libero SoC installation is the v11.7 production release, first update it to Libero SoC v11.7 SP1 or v11.7 SP1.1, and then apply the Libero SoC v11.7 SP2 service pack update.
- Libero SoC v11.7 SP2 software includes production timing and power data for RTG4 radiation-tolerant FPGA family, please refer to release notes for further information.

- Libero SoC v11.7 has many important changes that are highlighted in the release notes. Microsemi recommends all customers to read the release notes and upgrade designs to Libero SoC v11.7
Note:
SoftConsole workspaces/projects generated by Libero (into the "SoftConsole" folder of a Libero project) are for use with SoftConsole v3.4 SP1 and are not compatible with and should not be used with SoftConsole v4.0. Firmware exported by Libero into the "firmware" folder of a Libero project is compatible with SoftConsole v4.0 and should be copied/imported into a SoftConsole v4.0 project. Refer to the SoftConsole v4.0 release notes for more information about using Libero SoC generated firmware in SoftConsole v4.0 projects. SoftConsole v4.0 should not be configured as a Software IDE Tool Profile in Libero.
