SpaceFibre Single-Lane Router |
|
Overview
The SpaceFibre Single-Lane Router IP Core provides a highly flexible router comprising a configurable number of ports (SpaceFibre, SpaceWire or AXI4-Stream) and a fully configurable, non-blocking, high performance, routing switch. Each port of the router has one or more virtual channels. The routing switch interconnects virtual channels from different ports using the concept of SpaceFibre Virtual Networks. The SpaceFibre router supports up to 64 virtual networks, which behave like independent SpW networks working at multi-gigabit rates within a single SpaceFibre Router. The virtual networks can be set statically through FPGA programming or can be dynamically modified using the configuration port and the RMAP protocol, via any of the Router ports. The virtual network number is used to determine the virtual channel of the destination port The SpaceFibre Single-Lane Router IP Core is fully compliant with the SpaceFibre standard, ECSS-E-ST-50-11C.
