RISC-V Workshop at Sensors Expo & Conference 2018
RISC-V Workshop at Sensors Expo & Conference 2018 on 06.26.2018 - 06.28.2018 13.00 h - 16.00 h at McEnery Convention Center

Description

Learn the basics of the open RISC-V instruction-set architecture by bringing up an RTOS and writing basic MicroPython scripts on a Microsemi Mi-V Creative Board. Each attendee will leave with this $99 kit configured with a 32-bit RISC-V core in an IGLOO2 FPGA. Attendees will use a variety of firmware and Microsemi’s SoftConsole  integrated development environment (IDE).
After designing a “Hello, World!” application, participants will be guided through RTOS bringup with both the open-source FreeRTOS operating system and a commercial platform. From there, the tutorial will expand to adding peripherals and executing MicroPython scripts on the board’s Mi-V RV32IM core.

The development board, tools, and associated software are complimentary for attendees, making for a perfect introduction to RISC-V while you’re attending the Sensors Expo & Conference (www.sensorsexpo.com) June 26-28, 2018 in San Jose.
Attendees must bring: The workshop will be held in Executive Ballroom G at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, CA. Click here to learn more.
