Design Deterministic and Secure Multi-axis/High RPM and Low Power Motor Control Solutions
With electric motors consuming 45% of all electrical energy (IEA), regulators worldwide are imposing energy performance and safety standards to drive motor drive efficiency. In order to meet the exacting standards, these drives have to deploy a high-accuracy and high-performance motor control algorithms.
Microsemi's SmartFusion2 SoC FPGA or IGLOO2 FPGA based deterministic multi-axis motor control solution is specially designed to meet the challenging requirements of performance, reliability, security, safety, low-power and modularity. The solution consists of a fully-modular motor control IP suite, hardware development platform and GUI-based motor control software. The solution has a compact design, yet enables an easy implementation of multiple BLDC motors running at 100+ kRPM and also combinations of BLDC, stepper and induction motors.
