High-Power (30W), Gigabit and Remote Management Packed Together
For PTZ Cameras, 802.11n Access Points, Thin-Clients, WiMAX and more.

PD 7000G Family The PowerDsine 7000G series (PD-7000G) is the industry's first Power-over-Ethernet Midspan to offer High-Power, Gigabit support and advanced management in a single unit. Targeting High-Power (>13W) Ethernet-based end applications such as PTZ Cameras, 802.11n Access Points, Thin-Clients, WiMAX transceivers, Video Phones and more and more.

The PD-7000G family comes in 6-, 12- and 24- port models to answer the needs of any deployment size - from low to high port density. These come in addition to the PD-7001G, the 1-port high-power unit, targeting single port deployment needs.

Each PD-7000G multi-port unit includes a management option to allow simple and efficient monitoring and control of the network devices. Using 'PowerView Pro' - PowerDsine's secure SNMPv3 management application - tasks such as remote power-off/power-on, unit scheduling, UPS power monitoring and web-based monitoring can be easily performed.

The PD-7000G series allow a safe and cost effective PoE solution for Ethernet end terminals. More devices can be powered via the network, thus eliminating the need to use a power supply and install costly power outlets close to the end device. In addition, using the PD-7000G series, which is powering on the spare pairs as required by the PoE standard, a customer can be ready for 4-pair powering by combining with another PoE switch later on.

The PD-7000G series can be used to power non-PoE devices using the new PowerDsine High-Power splitter series - PD-AS-701.

The PD-AS-701 comes in 3 different output voltages - 12v, 18v and 24v *.

The Gigabit interface makes PD-7000G series the perfect solution for Gigabit Video phones, WiMAX transmitters or 802.11n access points.

A PoE Midspan (PoE injector) resides between the Ethernet switch and the data terminals, delivering data, along with power, from switch to powered devices. It is a highly effective means for injecting power into LAN cables.

Values & Benefits:
  • High Power over 2-pairs only - 30W per port.
  • Perfect fit for most 802.11n Access Points, WiMAX CPEs, Video Phones Access control units, Point-of-Sale terminals and more
